Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the possibilities of computer support of people with disabilities, taking into account their specific needs according to the type of their disabilities (visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical disability, specific learning disabilities ...).
Learning outcomes
• the student is oriented in the field of assistive, information and communication technologies
• knows the terms of text creation for disadvantaged readers
• can design a procedure for selecting the appropriate aid or technology

  • • Computer communication for people with disabilities (emails, chat, blogs, Twitter, Skype, Google).
  • • ICT in Framework Educational Programs.
  • • Computer, digital, media and information literacy.
  • • Preparation of texts for disadvantaged readers + fundamentals of typography (document design, font, paragraphs, pages, rate rules).
  • • Creating comprehensible presentations (text editing, image editing, inserting objects - images and sound, page background, text color, ...).
  • • Web 2.0 (Interactive Web Services).
  • • Web accessibility issues (content, formatting, control, spreadsheet, image tagging, video, site naming, ...).

Teaching methods
Expert text study, discussion of expert texts and practical examples.
Assessment methods
Contribution to the discussion in the form of electronic contributions to the subject forum. Retrieval of expert text from selected area of ICT or AT in connection with special pedagogy. The text will be technically and professionally correct (at least 10 pages, embedded objects). The rating is usually composed of 4 criteria, each rated 10 points. Successful mastering requires at least 70%. Criteria for evaluation: factual accuracy, text comprehension, modification and appearance, insertion of work in the IS of the IS.
