- Course objectives
- The subject deals with database systems and editorial systems. Shows the creation of active web pages using Visual Studio, the Access database system and the Oracle SQL server.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to: a) describe and use individual technologies to create active websites; a) Visual Studio creation; b) designing databases and working with Access database systems and Oracle SQL Server; a) manipulate data through databases from the web; b) create independently active websites;
- Syllabus
- 1. Database Access Systems, SQL (Database Theory, DBS Creation, Database Model Design, Custom Database Creation) 2. Work with the Oracle Database Server 3. Access database design test 4. Overview of site creation options (HTML, CSS, content management systems) 5. Dynamic www pages (VBScript, ASPNET MVC2 principle and usage) 6. Visual Basic and Visual Developer - Fundamentals of Programming (Visual Basic Syntax and Basic Commands - Practical Demos) 7. Visual Basic - other usage options, introduction to SQL databases (form processing, database on the web, PHP utilization in cooperation with database) 8. Other site creation options (separate project work) 9. Other site creation options (stand-alone project work) 10. Use of services on the Internet (domain registration, www space, search engines, statistics, ...) 11. Independent work (project work with the possibility of consultation) 12. Submission and approval of the project
