Course objectives
The students will be able to apply the theoretical knowledge of physical education and health education in kindergarten teaching. The students will be able to develop weekly and long-term thematic plans for preschool education including elements of physical education and health education.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the students will be able to develop thematic plans for preschool education and use these plans in lessons.
Syllabus
  • 1. Didactic application of theoretical knowledge of physical education in kindergartens. 2. Didactic application of theoretical knowledge of health education in kindergartens. 3. – 6. Preparation and development of thematic plans for preschool education including elements of physical education and health education. 7. – 12. Commented reflection and self-reflection of the presented thematic plans and their review.

Assessment methods
Reflection and self-reflection of an integrated teaching project involving a one-week teaching block focused on various physical activities based on the current concept of preschool education.
