- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with selected foreign models of pre-school education, especially in the areas of preschool education and early care, curriculum, staffing and evaluation and research activities. Furthermore, to acquaint with the concept of the quality of pre-school education in the international context, especially in the context of the European Union.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to: - identify the main features of selected pre-school systems in the European Union; - describe the factors that influence the quality of pre-school education; - to compare the differences between the Czech system of pre-school education and the systems of other European Union countries; - outline the application of good practice examples from abroad to Czech pre-school education.
