- Course objectives
- The aim of the practice is to enable the student to verify in practice the ability to diagnose the child's difficulties and to plan an intervention program with the kindergarten teachers and consult with their parents. Through its conception, practice follows all previous practices and connects them into a complex whole.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to: - describe and explain diagnostic procedures and the choice of diagnostic methods; - interpret diagnostic findings; - propose measures to promote child development; - coordinate teamwork; - communicate effectively with parents; - design strategies to work with counselling facilities; - reflect your professional skills and prepare your professional development plan.
- Syllabus
- The internship takes place in the 8th - 10th week of the semester, lasting two weeks. The task of the student is to diagnose the difficulties of the chosen child and together with the teacher to propose a pedagogical support plan that he / she consults with his / her parents. The student can follow up on Diagnostic-Intervention Practice and continue the intervention of an already diagnosed child. He / she consults his / her practice with the counselling facility, evaluates the effects of the intervention, etc. Part of the practice is self-reflection in which the student evaluates his / her professional skills acquired during the study and formulates a plan for his / her further professional development.
