- Course objectives
- The main attention of the course is focused on improving speaking and writing skills of students in terms of vocabulary and grammar. An integral part of teaching is also a confrontation grammatical and stylistic phenomena of Russian and Czech.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to converse on topics discussed; to express their views with using a new vocabulary; to apply grammatical and stylistic knowledge of the Russian language in written and verbal communication.
- Syllabus
- 1. The family and interpersonal relationships. Structure with transgressives, their translation into Czech language.
- 2. Young families today. Verbal prepositional phrases, differences in the use of Czech language in comparison.
- 3. Job nowadays. The passive verbs.
- 4. Occupation. Job market. Passive, structure with participles.
- 5. The current society and its problems. Abbreviations. Coordination with the adjective and verb, translation into Czech.
- 6. Summary and revision of grammatical material.
