- Speech intervention at pre-school age:
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to understand and to explain the logopedic intervention process in children pre-school age. Students will acquire theoretical knowledge about speech development and language skills. They will acquire the techniques to stimulate speech development and the specificities of interventions in individual types of impaired communication skills in preschool children (impaired speech development, articulation disorders, fluency speech disorders, speech disorders etc.). It gains basic competencies in communication with clients and interdisciplinary
Intervention of deaf children at pres-school age:
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to understand and to explain the logopedic intervention process in children with hearing impairment in early and pre-school age. The student will acquire theoretical knowledge about speech development and language skills in children with hearing disability. They will acquire the techniques to stimulate the development of communication and the specifics of intervention in children in individual and group work. It will acquire basic competencies in communication with clients and inter-departmental cooperation. - Learning outcomes
- Speech intervention at pre-school age:
Orientation in speech development and language skills; orientation in the possibilities of interdisciplinary cooperation in the context of logopedic intervention in children in early and pre-school age; ability to discuss issues of children with identifiable and potentially identifiable risk in speech development; overview of individual types of impaired communication skills at pre-school age; application of acquired knowledge to practical cases in children with impaired communication ability.
Intervention of deaf children at pres-school age:
Orientation in speech development and language skills; orientation in the possibilities of interdisciplinary cooperation in speech therapy interventions in children with hearing impairment in early and pre-school age; ability to discuss children with impaired speech development due to the presence of hearing impairment; to discuss the use of compensatory aids in speech development in children with hearing impairment; application of acquired knowledge to practical cases in children with hearing impairment. - Syllabus
- Speech speech intervention at pre-school age:
- Child with delay in speech development and language skills - characteristics, possibilities of intervention. Child with Dyslalia - contemporary views on dyslalie, classification of dyslalie from phonetic and phonological point of view, speech therapy. A child with a speech disorder - fuzziness, palatolal. Orofacial clefts - etiology, classification. Interdisciplinary care in children with orofacial clefts. Child with mutism. (S) elective mutism - definition, characterization, logopedic intervention.

- Ontogenesis of speech and language skills in children with hearing impairment. Categories of children with identifiable and potentially identifiable risk in speech development and language skills. Disrupted speech development - definition, classification, child with specifically disrupted speech development. Child with delay in speech development and language skills - characteristics, possibilities of intervention. Child with hearing disability - disruption of speech development in the context of individual linguistic levels. Using experience diaries for communication development, global reading. Development of language skills in a child with hearing impairment in the hearing of the hearing impaired family.
