Course objectives
The course focuses on the acquisition of language proficiency at A1/A2 level. The seminar will be practical, introducing students to A1/A2 level grammatical phenomena, basic vocabulary on selected topics and supporting the integration of these individuals into society.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to communicate in Czech at the A1/A2 level. He/she will be able to read and write basic texts in Czech, understand common topics of conversation, and be able to formulate and apply the primary rules of Czech grammar.
Syllabus
  • Practical teaching: grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking at A1 level. Conversational topics: What is your name? Who is it? I'm shopping, are you shopping? Time and agenda. What do you do? Orientation - Where? Where to? What's going on? What am I supposed to do? Work - Leisure. In the case of higher language proficiency of students, other topics at the A2 level.
