Course objectives
On the basis of current topics related to French-speaking countries, students improve their arguments in written and oral speeches. Topics are selected to encourage students to think and express their own views in a clear and structured way. The starting point of the course is the set of documents on which students are to learn synthetic information processing. In this way, they will acquire new thinking and expressive skills, enrich the vocabulary and gain a more general view of the problems they are able to discuss.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students are able to: understand articles and reports on contemporary issues in French-speaking countries, interpret these texts orally and in writing and apply acquired knowledge and skills in practice.
