- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to be able to define the scope of work of a teaching assistant for children and pupils with hearing impairment. Orientation in the possibilities of supporting children and pupils with hearing impairments in kindergartens and primary schools; be able to justify reading difficulties in people with prelingual hearing impairment and to know the peculiarities of their written expression; to orientate oneself in the field of hearing loss in the field of education.
- Learning outcomes
- The student is able to define the specifics of working with children and pupils with hearing impairments; is familiar with the possibilities of supporting children and pupils in the inclusive environment of mainstream school facilities.
- Syllabus
- A child with a hearing impairment in kindergarten. A pupil with a hearing impairment in primary school. Individual educational plan. Teaching assistant. Principles of proper communication with a child and a pupil with a hearing impairment in an inclusive environment. Wireless technology in teaching. Communication, experiential and conceptual diaries. Czech language in communication of children and pupils with hearing impairment. Communication with parents. Legislation.
