- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with specifics of pedagogical communication and to develop their ability to reflect specific pedagogical situations in relation to the qualities / qualities of pedagogical communication as well as in relation to individual actors of pedagogical communication.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to: • characterize different communication styles, identify effective and ineffective communication; • analyze your communication skills and create a plan for developing your communication skills; • understand and explain the ways in which the teacher communicates with the children; • interpret the teacher's interactions with children; • reflect the quality of one's own communication skills.
- Syllabus
- The internship takes place two hours a week in a selected faculty kindergarten under the guidance of an accompanying teacher who is trained in mentoring skills. This teacher accompanies the student for three semesters and purposefully builds the professional thinking of the students through reflection. The internship is complemented by reflective seminars, which are carried out in blocks 3 times a semester with the participation of a teacher and a psychologist from among university teachers. At the end of the semester, self-evaluation / assessment will take place in individual faculty kindergartens with the participation of students, accompanying teachers and an internal mentor.

- Assessment methods
- Self / assessment with the participation of students, accompanying teachers and an internal mentor. Subsequently, the student, accompanying teacher and internal mentor will evaluate the course of practice in writing on the form "Assessment sheet".
