- Course objectives
- After completing the course students should be able to use basic knowledge from the area of computer use to elementary school. Know the Function of the theoretical principles and practical PC work with computer technology to the extent necessary to teach at elementary school.
- Syllabus
- 1. basic concepts of information - information, resources, information institutions.
- 2. structure, function and description of computers and peripherals.
- 3. operating systems and their basic functions.
- 4. introduction to file formats (doc, gif, ...)
- 5. use of multimedia computer
- 6. simple computer maintenance, procedures for common problems with hardware and software
- 7. principles of safety and prevention of health risks associated with prolonged use of computer technology
- 8. social flow of information (creation, transmission, transformation, processing, distribution of information)
- 9. basic means of communication (e-mail, chat, phone)
- 10. methods and tools for information retrieval
- 11. formulation of requirements for Internet searching, search attributes
- 12. basic functions of text editor
- 13. basic functions of a graphical editor
