Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at the Upper intermediate level. The basic study material is the coursebook New English File Upper Intermediate supplemented by various additional materials. At the end of the course students should be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at the Upper intermediate level and communicate in the language fluently.
Learning outcomes

Syllabus
  • The syllabus includes: speaking activities reading comprehension writing narratives listening comprehension • interaction. Students will participate in weekly activities and complete work outside of class in the coursebook and on Moodlinka. • New English File Upper-Intermediate Unit 6 and 7: sturctures after WISH, clauses of contrast and purpose, relative clauses, -ed and -ing adjectives and related verbs, expressions with go, prefixes. • Revision of all units in NEF U-I

Assessment methods
Students have to a placement test at the beginning of the course. At the end of the course: written test and oral test.
