- Course objectives
- The subject is a continuation of Didactics 3. Students deal with theoretical issues associated with teaching a foreign language, such as theory of language acquisition, teaching methods and evaluation and assessment. Students continue in creating and collecting materials for their student teacher portfolios.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will:
- understand the theory of language acquisition and will be able to apply their knowledge in their own teaching practice
- learn about different teaching methods, will understand how teaching languages developed. They will be able to choose those techniques for their teaching that are still useful and effective
- understand how to approach individual learners and adjust their teaching with respect to individual learners' differences. - Syllabus
