Course objectives
At the end of this course students should be able to: - understand the issues of health and illness - understand the link between health, living conditions and the environment - on the basis of acquired knowledge explain and follow healthy lifestyles (nutrition, physical activity, etc.) - use the information for the protection of the health of children and youth - understand the effects of stress on health - use information for the protection of the population against pathogenic influences - explain the impact of physical activity on the healthy development of the individual.
Learning outcomes
The student focuses on the issue of health promotion at the level of critical health literacy, he / she understands basic terms in the field of biomedical and psychosocial in the context of problem areas of health promotion and disease prevention, in relations and contexts. Furthermore, he is able to apply his / her knowledge in the field of didactic implementation of a specific program of health promotion in the school environment.

  • Topics: health and disease health and living conditions a healthy way of life (nutrition, physical activity ...) health and the environment protection of the health of children and youth stress and its effect on health protection population against pathogenic effects physical activity as part of prevention.
