Course objectives
At the and of the course the student will be able to use the informations about the human recourses. The student will be able to understand and explain principles and rules of motivation, evaluation, rating and remuneration of employees, he (she) will be able to manage the team. He (she) will be able to create the effectice team. Contents of the course consists of ten selected issues from the issue of personnel management in organizations. Students will gain an overview of the basic areas of personnel management issues in organizations. The student will be can to use basic manager´s proficiency by the kommunication and by the leadership.
Learning outcomes
Students will learn the basic principles of HR management
The student will be acquainted with the competencies of the manager and the leader
The student will learn the basics of human resource management
The student will be acquainted with professional literature from the field of people management
The student will know the selected human resource management tools
The student will be able to interpret HR management policies
The student will be able to solve simple problems in company management
The student will have a positive attitude towards human resources management tools
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to the human resources. 2. The labor market, recruitment and selection of employers. 3. Organizational culture and human recources. 4. Creating effective teams. 5. Development and training of employees. 6. The leadership. 7. Motivation, behavior and rating of employees in organizations. 8. Manager´s proficiency. 9. The rules of the assertiveness. 10. The rules of the successful communication.

Teaching methods
The class consits of a self-preparation done by student at home and a consultation held at the faculty. For each consultation student is obliged to review given topics (theoretical preparation). In the class the information is delivered in the form of a lecture joined with discussions or solving a case study.
Assessment methods
The corse will be finished by oral discussion.
