Course objectives
The aim of this subject is to develop the skills and motivation of students to study with using foreign sources and strengthening their active professional communication in a foreign language.
Learning outcomes
After completing this course, students acquire special knowledge about the situation in the study field abroad, they will be able to communicate in a foreign language, to better understand the development and actual situation of study field in an international context, will be able to study texts in foreign languages and also to respond to professional communication in an international environment.
Syllabus
  • Syllabus of eventualities: Completion of study subject (not the language course), which is at the Masaryk University taught in a foreign language. The subject must be focused on pedagogy, psychology, special education, social pedagogy, sociology or other related discipline. Participation in foreign study visiting program (eg. Erasmus +) of at least 2 months. Special professional experience abroad (eg. a work placement Erasmus +) of at least 1 month. Attendance at international summer school abroad with a focus on disciplines related to their study field of at least 2 weeks. For writing the thesis in English. Participation in at least 5 lectures or seminars themed on the subjects of study field taught in a foreign language visiting professors at Masaryk University or other universities. Active speech in a foreign language at scientific conferences or special seminars (eg. Student Scientific Conference).
