The course is designed for students who are at the A1-A2 level of English and who can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered at work, school, leisure, etc. They can also produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest, and can read texts and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to help students achieve A2 level knowledge of English by improving all language skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) and systems of the language (grammar and vocabulary) within the given level. The course is intended for future teachers learning and discussing topics such as education systems, schools and universities, and common school issues (e.g. bullying).
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- understand spoken and written teaching and educational English towards A2 level of the CEFR;
- write a formal letter in English;
- communicate in English about teaching and educational topics towards A2 level of the CEFR;
- give a presentation in English;
- use selected teaching and educational terminology in a natural, accurate way;
- show a good command of selected grammar structures towards A2 level of the CEFR.
