- Course objectives
- The outcome of the completed seminar is detailed processing, presentation and submission of seminar thesis project - a detailed list of literature, orientation in theme and content of the thesis preparation, determination methods of research and treatment work. Students actively discuss the chosen topic. Students will learn how to plan and organize work approach to the study of literature. Students are informed of the adoption of various research techniques and their application in its own project. Within a block of the course, students discuss unclear issues related to their dissertation. A successful student of the course is able to create a detailed tutorial project to the chosen thesis. The thesis is always written in the Russian language.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this seminar, the student will be able to prepare his own detailed seminar project and present selected methods of his / her processing.
- Syllabus
- The seminar based on the assigned topic of the thesis, or the idea of it. In this thesis, students can analyze the issue in linguistics, comparative literature in the aspect of didactics and foreign language - Russian. Students choose a topic and the teacher according to their specialization. The content of work in the seminar is: - Choosing a focus topic. - Selection of the primary and secondary sources. - Development of the project work. - The concept of the thesis. - Research methods in foreign language teaching. - Preparation and organization of research. - Custom Research. - Processing of research results.

- Teaching methods
- Study of scientific literature, theoretical training. Thesis project development, active participation in discussions. Lessons are held once per semester in the form of two-hour workshops contact. Participation in block seminar (Dates are always announced in the first weeks of the semester).
- Assessment methods
- It is assumed continuous systematic work on the topic of the thesis and project thesis. The dates of the seminar is block declared in the first weeks of the semester. A necessary condition for successful completion of participation in block classes (1x2 hours per semester).
