Course objectives
Students are introduced to different kinds of exercises, techniques and plays, that are used by this type of theatre. With the help of theese techniques they work in smaller groups on choosen topic. Theatre of the Oppressed leads the viewer to the awareness that everyone has a possibility to influent and to at least slightly change the events around us and in the real life too.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the students will be able to: Define the terms of the Theatre of Oppressed. Describe the goals of the Theatre of Oppressed. Compare the local and international attitudes to the Theatre of Oppressed. Apply the gained experience to your socio-pedagogical practice.
