- Course objectives
- Students get the skills of intervention provided to individuals with physical disability and next support measures.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to: - describe support options of people with physical disabilities - work with compensation aids - apply therapeitic approaches
- Syllabus
- 1. Early intervention for children with physical disabilities.
- 2. Intervention in therapeutic support (Vojta method of reflex therapy, Bobath concept).
- 3. Supportive therapies: canine therapy, hippotherapy, aromatherapy, etc.
- 4. Reflex therapy, oral position therapy.
- 5. Snoezelen.
- 6. Communication aids and technologies, HANDLE approach.
- 7. Support for psychomotor development in children with severe physical disabilities - positioning, aids.
- 8. Basal stimulation.
- 9. Sensory integration and sensory perception.
- 10. Intervention in the development of fine motor skills and graphomotor skills, alternative writing methods.
