Course objectives
The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the pedagogical terrain, the workplace, the staffing, the structure of pupils, clients and users of social services. Learners will carry out assistant work in the workplace under the supervision of a designated worker/teacher. According to the agreement with the accompanying person and the nature of the institution or school, the learners will be actively involved in the activities or teaching.The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the pedagogical terrain, the pace of the workplace, the staffing, the structure of pupils, clients, users of social services. Learners will carry out assistant work in the workplace under the supervision of a designated worker/teacher. Learners will be actively involved in activities or teaching, as agreed with the supervising person and the nature of the establishment or school.
Learning outcomes
Deepening of knowledge about methods and procedures of working with clients/customers/users of social services and documentation of the workplace. Ability to approach activities independently and actively participate in activities.

  • Teaching continuous practice is aiming on assistant work in given workplace under the supervision of chosen assistant.

Teaching methods
