Prerequisites
The subject is partly self-learning and self-experience teaching of various techniques based on educational and artefiletics´ areas (expressive approaches to working with a group) Specifically, there will be three block seminars focused on artefiletic techniques (experience, finding personal boundaries and personal potential / physical and mental / value orientation, empathy, cooperation, communication skills, an individual and a group ...); art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy, body therapy and choreotherapy, phototherapy.

Course objectives
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
• find his/her position in the educational process through the detection of its strengths and weaknesses;
• develop the ability of self-reflection. They will become acquainted with modern techniques and tools for self-knowledge, self-development, development of professional co-operation, reflection of practice;
• develop his/her personality and social competence in relation to their future helping profession, emphasis is put on the development of facilitating features, group work, improvement of soc. skills such as communication, cooperation, “I” language, here and now, group dynamics, cohesion and interaction, and more;
• acquire specific skills supporting educational goals, especially in the field of communication, support of cooperation (both within the contacts between educators and towards groups of students, clients), self-presentation, creativity, pedagogical improvisation, etc.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
● orientate in contemporary methods and techniques of artefiletics focused on the area of intrapersonal and interpersonal phenomena
● acquire a clear level of self-confidence for the area of intrapersonal and interpersonal phenomena
● interpret the concept of personality in the context of self-development towards oneself, to others, to the profession
Syllabus
  • Personal and social development in the framework of selected techniques focused on: - self-concept, self-reflection, social interaction, relaxation, meditation, self-identity, self-esteem, positive motivation to life, value map influence, nontraditional activities, pleasure, communication skills, teamwork and group dynamics, the prevention of possible social problems, the knowledge of self-limits, methods to overcome boredom, the relationship to oneself and to the environment
