Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are to obtain knowledge of the teachings of the material and present some important technologies that are used in various fields of industrial production.
Syllabus
  • 1. Metals in the national economy.
  • 2. Metals such as elements of production technologies.
  • 3. Iron-stones and extraction, treatment and production of pig iron.
  • 4. Production of steel - the creation of a steel plant.
  • 5. The crystalline structure of metals.
  • 6. Diagram system iron - carbon.
  • 7. Heat and chemical heat treatment of steel.
  • 8. Non-ferrous metals - their distribution and use in industry.
  • 9. Light metals - an overview of the main elements, alloys and their processing.
  • 10. Non-ferrous metals - an overview of the main elements and their alloys.
  • 11. Powder metallurgy.
  • 12. Non-ferrous materials used in industry and science  .
  • 13. Composite materials.
  • 14. Materials oriented architecture.
  • 15. Types of materials for highly stressed engineering parts.
  • 16. Stainless fireproof and materials used in technical fields.
