Course objectives
Use of 3D graphics in the areas of technology, engineering and design is currently highly promising. The basis of our design products, machinery, buildings and other technical facilities design 3D software. The course focuses on demonstrations and performances of various design and 3D programs. Students about the environment programs of drawing and editing tools. It presents the basics of creating 3D models and their subsequent use (3D printing).
Course contents Computer design, modeling and design is orientated in the relevant termology. Obtaining overview knowledge of design and 3D design and design (creation of 3D models). Application of basic procedures when working with   3D design programs. Getting acquainted with possible outputs of 3D design software (3D print, etc.).
Syllabus
  • 1.Introduction to 2D and 3D structural programs, parametric modeling;
  • 2.Design of 2D and 3D design programs and work with these programs;
  • 3. Trends in 3D modeling and design;
  • 4.Description of work examples of selected 3D programs;
  • 5.Use of 3D programs in practice, demos, trends;
  • Syllabus of lectures:
  • Week 1 and 2: Introduction to 2D and 3D structural programs, parametric modeling.
  • 3rd to 6th week: Overview of 2D and 3D design programs and work with these programs.
  • 7th and 8th week: Trends in 3D modeling and design.
  • 9th and 10th week: Getting acquainted with sample work of selected 3D programs.
  • Weeks 11 and 12: Using 3D programs in practice, demos, trends.
