Cíle předmětu
Students will:
- study principles of teaching skills based on the concept of communicative approach in foreign language teaching;
- try individual methods and techniques via micro-teaching and will assess their effectivity;
- choose, critically evaluate and adopt teaching as well as authentic materials for their lessons;
- study different types of assessment and assessment tools;
- use their teaching portfolios to reflect their professional development.
Výstupy z učení
Students will be able to:
- use methods and techniques of teaching skills based on communicative approach in their teaching practice;
- defend the usage of the methods and techniques referring to theoretical recourses;
- choose, critically evaluate and adopt teaching as well as authentic materials for their lessons;
- recognize the reasons for their learners' assessment and choose an appropriate assessment type for different purposes;
- choose and use different types of assessment tools appropriate for diagnosing learners' progress;
- create teaching portfolio during the whole semester;
- use the teaching portfolio to reflect their professional development.

One assignment for PL 20 points
One assignment for Methodology 20 points TOTAL 100 points
A minimum achievement of 70% of the total 100 points is needed to get the credit.

Remember to acknowledge all innovative ideas that are not yours. For generated ideas, use in-text citations. At the end of each assignment, state how you worked/did not work with AI. When in doubt, consult your teacher.
