- Course objectives
- The course provides practical application for English including speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students will have opportunities to improve their language use through discussions, exercises and assignments. The course offers various techniques of language learning and teaching while developing a broader understanding of methodology and English speaking cultures. The purpose of this course is to aid the students in refining/developing their use of English for their personal use and use in the classroom setting as well as to develop skills in English for educational/professional purposes; this process goes hand in hand with the students' teaching practice and draws on their observations. By the end of the course students should be able to create lessons which bear in mind the language development of their students and should also be aware of time management; at the same time they should feel confident in their own linguistic skills and use of the English language.
- Learning outcomes
- On completion of the course students will be able to conduct lessons entirely in English, they will be able to analyze and assess the effectiveness of various activities, and will also have experience in creating their own. Their language skills will have further developed toward C2 level. Students will learn to analyze the language for teaching purposes and will be aware of the fact that they have changed their roles - from being the users of the language into being the source of information about the language and language model providers.
