Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain practicaly exercised general ecology topics in accordance with following draft of themes:
(1) ecological factors of water medium (event. also climate and ecological factors of aerial medium);
(2) ecological factors of the soil medium; ecology of populations (demecology) -
(3) density,
(4) mortality of selected population;
(5) attributes of communities (event. also fundamentals of phytocenology);
(6) food relations (food chains, food pyramids, analysis of food spectre).
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain practicaly exercised general ecology topics in accordance with following draft of themes:

Assessment methods
The conditions for successful completion are:
1) active participation in the seminars - 2 absences without giving a reason are allowed.
2) Seminars 3, 9 and 12 contain key stages with interim assignments, attendance at these seminars is required.
3) learners submit assignments as instructed in the seminars, their acceptance by the instructors is a condition for participation in the final test.
4) final test within the scope of the topics discussed.
Náhradní absolvování
In the case of a foreign trip, it is possible to take the course in an alternative form by arrangement with the teachers. The content of the final assignment and the test are identical.
