- Course objectives
- In this course students will focus on the basic principles of creative process and the application of these principles in teaching literature. Students will use various methods of interpretation and explore the potential of specific texts. The texts will be selected from various contexts and used as a source of inspiration. Students will use them to enhance their own creativity, which will help them produce original materials for teaching. The reflection of those materials is a vital part of the course. The inspirational texts will be analysed from the contextual perspective and from the perspective of their specific features. The students will also analyse how they mirror the essential problems of human existence. Various approaches to creativity will be adopted.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, students will be knowledgeable of the general principles of creativity;
- capable of approaching texts creatively and produce their own materials to work with them;
- able to find inspirational and motivating elements in texts and use those elements effectively;
- able to reflect upon the methods they produce and use this reflection and feedback to modify those methods. - Syllabus
