- Under the "Practical Exercises of Archaeology" and "Summer Archaeological Practice", our history students, following the subject of "History of Prehistory", "History of Antiquity" and "History of the Middle Ages", will familiarize themselves with the basics of archaeology, with the fieldwork on our archaeological research place of the Great Moravian Centre in Znojmo-Hradiště and the cabinet processing of the findings and acquired knowledge. This also means the treatment, documentation and restoration of the material culture monuments. We follow up on the rich history of archaeological research, which was first initiated by the teachers of our workplace at Masaryk University. We are the only workplace among the historical institutes and departments of our universities that can independently carry out scientific research work in Znojmo-Hradec. The acquired skills and knowledge of the students will be used well in the further study / orientation in the literature, the creation of a professional text - in bachelor and master's degree studies / as well as in their own pedagogical practice.
