Course objectives
The aim of the seminar is to acquire basic knowledge and skills for computer work with a focus on music software with specific application outputs for musical-educational practice.
Learning outcomes
The student will acquire the basics of music composing on a computer.
The student will acquire a more advanced orientation in the specific music software (Cubase, MuseScore, Sibelius etc.) from the point of view of the music teacher's needs.
The student will acquire a more creative way of arranging music on a computer.

  • 1. Basic work with MIDI - communication between keyboard and computer
  • 2. Advanced computer user operation with a view to work with the music sequencer (Cubase
  • 3. Basic work with notation software (MuseScore, Sibelius)
  • 4. Recording, editing and mastering of the simple audio track
  • 5. Individual or team creative work in the field of multimedial production.
  • Creative music apps for tablets and mobile phones (Android operating system)

Tasks for colloquium: Students' own (individual or team) work in the field of multimedial production. The creation of a MIDI/AUDIO composition or a music score (in Cubase, Sibelius, MuseScore or other music software).
