Prerequisites
The students who wish to write their bachelor thesis at the department of mathematics enroll in this subject. Typically, this is in the fourth semester of their bachelor studies.

Course objectives
The course is designed as a course encouraging students to write their bachelor thesis meeting all the requirements placed on it. Upon completing the course, the student will be able to write the project of their final thesis.
Learning outcomes
Experience with literature search. Gaining knowledge that exceeds the scope of the regular courses.
Syllabus
  • The student individually consults the supervisor on the topic determined after mutual agreement. Student finds and reads relevant literature and works on the outline of the bachelor thesis, which will in particular specify the timetable of the work on the thesis.

Individual consultations during the work on thesis.
