- The aim of the course is
- to familiarize students with the fundamental principles, forms, and tools of self-/assessment of learners in the context of foreign language teaching;
- to develop the students' ability to integrate tools for the self-/assessment of learners into their own teaching. - Learning outcomes
- By the end of this seminar, students will have
- knowledge of the fundamental principles, forms, and tools of self-/assessment of learners in the context of foreign language teaching;
- the ability to effectively integrate tools for the self-/assessment of learners into their own teaching. - Syllabus
- Introduction to key concepts: assessment/evaluation, formative assessment, assessment for/as learning, self-evaluation/self-assessment, peer feedback. Forms and tools of self-/assessment of learners in the context of foreign language teaching. Key principles for promoting self-assessment of learners.

- Development of a theory-based teaching concept to promote learners' self-assessment. Active participation in the seminars (attendance, active involvement in discussions, preparation for discussions in seminar – reading).
