- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to consolidate the skills of correct written expression in Russian, to expand the knowledge of the rules of Russian spelling by selecting those chapters that cause difficulties for students, to develop linguistic competence using previously acquired vocabulary and knowledge from linguistic disciplines (phonetic and morphological phenomena).
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- apply the acquired knowledge in written expression, i.e. write Russian correctly;
- explain special cases of using and writing consonant groups;
- apply the acquired knowledge in the formation of Russian sentences;
- develop their written expression in Russian. - Syllabus
- 1. Special use cases "e", "j", "i".
- 2. Voiced and unvoiced consonants.
- 3. Spelling of prefixes ending in "c", "з".
- 4. Spelling of nouns formed by compounding.
- 5. The spelling of two consonants in nouns.
- 6. The spelling of adjectives.
- 7. Writing one and two "n" in the suffixes of adjectives.
- 8. Spelling of adverbs.
- 9. Spelling of conjunctions.
- 10. Spelling of prepositions.
- 11.Spelling of particles.

- - independent work in the interactive curriculum, work with answer sheets - after studying the theoretical basis and terminology, students work independently (translation and spelling exercises - make-up exercises, correcting texts with errors, writing their own texts, etc.);
- consultation with the teacher in MS Teams. - Assessment methods
- Regular preparation and submission of assignments based on work with the interactive syllabus and work with answer sheets (it is necessary to prepare all answer sheets in accordance with the detailed instructions received at the beginning of the semester). Language accuracy is assessed.
