- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- This course aims to prepare students to become aware of the importance and benefits of using Outdoor Education principles and techniques. Students will learn by practicing experiential learning activities in outdoor contexts. The course comprises lots of practical activities that help us discover the beauty and value of nature and of the city and ways to design and implement activities. Each session is followed by a reflection activity which requires participants to critically evaluate the techniques and discover what is best to use in their own context. The course is designed as a three-day experience-oriented educational program.
- Learning outcomes
- students will be able to:1) develop understanding of the human condition to convey personal, social and cultural meanings through drama 2) enable collaboration with one another, valuing individual and group contributions towards shared goals that are part of the drama practice 3)become aware of the principles and benefits of Outdoor Education and experiential learning
