- Course objectives
- The course takes place in conjunction with the theoretical and practical preparation of the seminar Art Projects with reflected practice. The aim of the course is to apply and effectively transform the knowledge and specific topics discussed in this seminar into practice and at the same time to develop and deepen reflective and self-reflective skills in relation to the future teaching profession.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the subject/seminar, the student will: a) better understand the essential aspects of pedagogical situations and issues that have been discussed in seminars – with regard to the course of discussions in seminars it can, for example, revise her/his attitude towards motivating children or solving various educational problems; b) be able to use reflection and self-reflection as a tool of professional learning – for example, s/he should be able to identify the connection between the self-regulation of own feelings and self-learning in the classroom and pupils’ learning outcomes.
- Syllabus
- Planning, preparation and organization of an art project or art thematic series (participatory observation and on-site planning) Implementation of the project on time with a group of preschool children Reflections and presentations (collaborations with the subject Art projects with reflected practice). Individual and group work with reflective notes from practice. Acquisition of reflection and self-reflection as a tool of professional learning with regard to the general pedagogical and psychological aspect of the teacher's work.

- Teaching practice and own realization of an artistic thematic series or project with a group of children; work with reflective notes and professional portfolio for art activities.
- Assessment methods
- Active participation (100%). Fulfillment of the main task: continuous preparation of an art project (compulsory consultations) within the subject Art projects with reflected practice, project implementation within this subject and reflection (Art projects with reflected practice). Submission of the evaluation form from the accompanying kindergarten teacher (Appendix 15 - methodology) and final presentation of the implemented (and subsequent unrealized activities) art project or art (thematic) series. Presentation in the form of an annotated audio, video or photo sequences. Reflections (in the seminar Art projects with reflected practice).
