Course objectives
Aim of the course is to deepen students' knowledge about pharmacy and its historical development, especially by presenting some specific interdisciplinary contexts, and contribute to a better understanding of the social and cultural status of pharmacy.
Learning outcomes
After attending the course, the student will be able:
- to characterize museums and their importance for pharmacy;
- to identify and describe basic types of historical sources relevant for pharmacy;
- to search and summarize information on interdisciplinary topics;
- to focus on particular fields of arts and find their connections to pharmacy;
- to characterize the milestones of development of the healtcare in Brno.

    - Chapters from the history of medicines I.
    - Chapters from the history of medicines II.
    - Relationships between pharmacy and arts.
    - Chapters from the history of healthcare in Brno.
