- Course objectives
- Human Morphology aims to introduce students of the Faculty of Pharmacy to the basic knowledge of human anatomy, histology, and embryology so that they can use it not only in the following subjects of their studies but also in their future practice in pharmacy. Students study the anatomic and microscopical structure of tissues and organs, including human embryonical development. The main emphasis is given to the anatomy of particular organ systems of the human body and their topographical relationships.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- describe, using the valid anatomical nomenclature, the macroscopic and microscopic structure of tissues and organs;
- characterize the topographic relations of the organs;
- assess the relations between the different organ systems;
- clarify the relations between the structure and function of organs as a necessary basis for understanding the physiological and pathophysiological contexts in related subjects - Syllabus

- Teacher's information
- The Human Morphology course is concluded with an examination. The condition for participation in the exam is 100% attendance in practical classes. The examination is a theoretical oral examination and takes place according to the rules specified in the Study and Examination Regulations of MU Brno.
