- Short synopsis outlining contents and aim of the subject:
Aim of subject: Subject focused on special requirements for handling the radioactive substances in manufacturing of medicinal preparation in required dosage form and on relevant control procedures. Subject introduces into usage of these drugs in diagnostics and therapy. - Syllabus

1st seminar: 21-Feb-20, 13:30-15:00 Introduction into practical training from Radiopharmaceuticals, effect of radiation on organism, radiation protection and its application in practice. (Dr. Budinský)
1st lecture: 21-Feb-20, 15:00-16:30 Preparation of radiopharmaceuticals and their quality evaluation, dosage forms of radiopharmaceuticals. (Dr. Budinský)
2nd lecture: 6-Mar-20, 13:30-15:00 Legislation in radiopharmacy, production and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals. (Dr. Růžičková)
3rd lecture: 6-Mar-20, 15:00-16:30 Kinetic of radiopharmaceuticals. Radioactivity use in chemistry. (Dr. Macků)
4th lecture: 20-Mar-20, 13:30-15:00 Radiopharmaceuticals in therapy. (Dr. Žilková)
5th lecture: 3-Apr-20 13:30-15:00 Investigation of patient at nuclear medicine departement, SPECT, PET, hybride systems, PET and protone therapy. (Ing. Bartl)
6th lecture: 17-Apr-20, 13:30-15:45 Clinical use of radiopharmaceuticals in diagnosis. New radiopharmaceuticals. (Dr. Budinský)

preparation and QC of radiopharmaceuticals
preparation of 99mTc and 111In radiopharmaceuticals in SPECT dg.
preparation of 18F radiopharmaceuticals in PET dg.
oncological and non-oncological radiopharmaceuticals in diagnosis and therapy.
For every practice two students are maximum, 60 minutes.
