- Course objectives
- Main objectives: Social pharmacy deals with the role of drugs in society. The aim of the field is to develop a scientific background for providing drugs to society. Teaching and research are focuses on drug-related fields such as consumption, control and evaluation of drug usage. Special topics include pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, demographic and health statistics, health and drug policies, management and organisation, information and dissemination of information, pharmacy practice in the healthcare sector, ethics, legislation etc.
