Course objectives
Practical experience and deeper understanding of editions of 17th and 18th music. Students will be acquainted with advanced techniques of editing work, specifics of historical scores editing, archive institutions and the most famous editions.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to define advanced terminology, describe types of editions and define their characteristic and attributes. During the term will be acquainted with advanced research work an will be able orientate themselves in music arichves in Czech Republic.
Students will be able to prepare critical edition of 18th century composition with foreign language text, editorial´s note, editorial´s report etc.
