Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following: achievement of technical and interpretational prerequisites for performance practice of early music.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to apply principes of early music interpretation.

  • I.term: technique II.term: J.S.Bach, A.Michna, V.K.Holan Rovenský, J.Dowland,T.Campion, G.Caccini. III.term: Caccini, Monteverdi , Schütz, Händel, Caldara, Gabrieli, Purcell, Monteverdi, Schütz , Schein IV.term: opera and oratorio arias ( Bach, Händel, Vivaldi, Purcell, Zelenka, Charpentier), kantatas J.A.Plánický, B.M.Černohorský , Zelenka Lamentace. V. term: kantatas G.P.Telemann, opera and oratorio arias Bach, Händel, Vivaldi,Zelenka, VI.semestr: finalization of absolutorium concert
