- Lectures on grammar system, reading, listening, speaking, translation exercises, team work, homeworks
- Assessment methods
- During the course, students will undergo 3 sub-checks, which will test their knowledge and competence in spoken and written Lithuanian. The dates of these sub-tests will be set by the teacher. The final assessment will take place in one of two ways:
1) The teacher calculates the mathematical average of the scores from the subtests, and if the student is satisfied with the result, this average is entered into the IS as the final grade.
2) If the student is not satisfied with the grade thus calculated, he/she takes a final examination which includes an oral and a written part. In the oral part, the student must demonstrate his/her competence in basic conversational skills in Lithuanian. The written part consists of a test in which the knowledge of Lithuanian grammar is checked. The result of the exam is entered in the IS as a final assessment. - Language of instruction
