- Course objectives
- Since language studies require the capability to master a considerable amount of data, this course is focused on the presentation of techniques that can help to reach this aim.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course, the student:
- will have a complex overview of the conditions of effective mental work;
- will know basic rules governing the process of forgetting;
- will know several types of memotechniques designed for various types of data;
- will have tested min. 6 various techniques according to his/her own preference;
On the basis of the above, the student will be able to modify his/her way of learning to achieve optimal results in accordance with his/her individual talents and current needs. - Syllabus
- The techniques that are dealt within the course (including the techniques focusing on the memory and its functioning as well as concrete memotechniques) are both theoretically explained and practised during the term.
