- Telling stories is old as mankind itself. Story is like DNA, which adapts to new environments, situations and society - and the most known stories are hundreds and thousands years old.
We will trace travels of the old, notorious stories, which we know from theatre, in between different media (theatre, cinema, musical, literature, balet, comics…), in between high and lowbrow, popular and élitiste genres.
On one hand we will focus on artistic choices and adaptation strategies, on other hand audience reception on different arts works. - Learning outcomes
