- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with a general overview of the topics in history of the Interim theatre in Prague.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course student will be able to:
- define the specifics of the Interim theatre;
- appraise the differences between romantic theatre programs of J. K. Tyl and J. J. Kolár;
- explain the differences between the two romantic theatre programs;
- describe political influences on the history of the Czech theatre from 1862 to 1883;
- compare specifics of the Czech romantic theatre with European romantic theatre. - Syllabus
