- Course objectives
- The seminar is dealing with basic texts about acting from Denis Diderot to Eugenio Barba. Students analyze and discuss them. The aim is an ability to understand term and basic concepts of acting in European and world theatre of the 20th century.
The seminar is held in Czech. - Learning outcomes
At the end of the seminar student will be able to:
- prove knowledge of selected chapters of the most important texts that are concerned with the questions, reflection and theory of acting;
- compare differences in viewing acting between individual theories;
- use these theories in practise by analysing today's acting.- Syllabus
