- Course objectives
- Introduction to the study of the medieval region of Svanety (Georgia): history and historiography, Architecture and decoration, Aniconism. The course will be taught as a block lecture in situ from cc. 15.09 to 22.09.2024.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
- Identify and summarize important features of the major moments of the history of Svanety;
- undestand and critically analyze historiography and concepts related to this environment;
- produce an analytical study of selected artifacts; - Syllabus
