- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- Students will get acquainted with the basic types and characteristics of aristocratic residences (country houses) in England from the 16th to the 20th century. Besides the changes in the architectural forms of individual houses, attention will be focused on their functional use, artistic collections and personalities of particular patrons.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
- orientate in the development of English aristocratic residences;
- identify and describe their parts;
- characterize represented collections and works of art;
