- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with concrete historical knowledge about similarities and differences in reaction of film industry and audiences to occupation or about the role and stability of film industry practices and national traditions. Students will be introduced to theoretical concepts, methodology and research sources. While providing an overview of the cinema production in the occupied European countries, the lecture will mostly focus on the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will get acquainted with current researches on film industry and film culture during the WWII, as well as with the methodological tools and research principles of comparative research, global and local history or oral history.
